Clay class for kids beginners

Learn hand-sculpting techniques in our class, including how to join clay pieces and use sculpting tools. We'll cover basic skills for making dishes and animal figures, sparking a passion for clay in young students and preparing them for independent creativity.

Clay class for adult beginners

Join our beginner's clay class and learn hand-sculpting techniques, such as pinch pots, slab construction, and coil building. Our supportive environment will help you develop a strong foundation in joining clay pieces and using sculpting tools. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and confidence to create functional and decorative pieces on your own. No previous experience is necessary!

Time: Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 pm—7:00 pm. 90 minutes.

Price: $45 trial class, $180/month (one visit per week, pick your day, from the date of subscription)

Makeup policy. Missed lessons can be made up by attending with another group on a different day or by attending a one-hour session at the Clay station any day (Tue—Sat, 4—7 pm) to work on a self-selected topic and receive necessary assistance from the instructor.


Summer camp

We invite children to a summer camp where they will learn how to sculpt sea creatures from clay. Coral, anemones, whales, exotic fish, crabs, and other beauties. We have chosen topics to showcase different sculpting techniques, teach the use of tools, and how to apply glazes correctly. We fire the products in our own kiln. There will also be an educational component about the underwater world and interesting ocean fauna facts.

9:45-10:00 Walk to the Masterskaya
10:00-10:30 We discuss the topic of the day, share knowledge about the animal we are going to sculpt, look at drawings, photos, videos, discuss lifestyle and structural features
10:30-12:00 Work in the class (sculpting, preparing for firing or glazing)
12:00-12:30 Lunch (children bring their own)
12:30-1:00 Interesting facts about ocean fauna / finishing up projects / free play and socializing - depending on the situation
